Trustees: William PLUMMER and John HURLE the younger, both linen merchants of Bristol;   children Mary Flower FUSSELL, Susan Flower FUSSELL, James Flower FUSSELL[2], and Thomas Flower FUSSELL;   deceased brothers: Thomas and Robert FUSSELL;   wife and trustees to be execs. Notes: [1] Testator married Susanna FLOWER at Westbury-on-Trym, Gloucestershire on 14 Dec 1809; she was a granddaughter of the famous Bristol potter Joseph FLOWER, and died in 1840. FOX, John the elder - of Cirencester, Innkeeper[1], 1 Jul 1814. Beneficiaries: wife Mary FOX, sons William FOX and John FOX, daughter Mary[2]. Executrix: wife Mary FOX. Witnesses: Geo. BEVER,   John HOLT,   J.R. MULLINGS (I think, but this signature is hard to read) Probate 17 Sep 1830 at Gloucester. GRO Ref: 1830/#191. Notes: [1] Pigot's Directory for Cirencester 1830 shows "FOX Jno & sons, White Hart Inn, Dyer Street". [2] The will does not actually give the surnames of John's children, and a gap is left after Mary's name each time it is mentioned. I was hoping that this Will would show that she is the Mary FOX who married George DAVIS in Cirencester in 1803, but John isn't being very helpful(!) (my) lands called Street Furlong, Fulwell, and Combs Bottom, which I hold under a lease granted by the Principal and Fellows of Magdalen College in the University of Oxford. I authorize the said John FLOWER to enter upon the said lands and to distrain for the same sum if the same shall be in arrear for the space of seven days;   to said Lydia FLOWER and Emma FLOWER - my leasehold messuage &c. at East Grinsted co.
